Featuring the remix of the song Sky High / Candy Mountain and some sound effect samples from the N64 game Super Smash Brothers, behold, the Super Falcon Punch Deluxe:

Just to show that Kirby is really awesome even without his American eyebrows.

In the advent of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, some characters gained additional voiceovers. One of them was Falco from the Star Fox series. Falco’s character now comes with a bronx accent. However, the downside is that we can’t really make out clearly what he is saying.

Pizza Cake!
Hams off my bread!
Personally, I prefer the eggs…

I guess we all know what Falco’s favorite food is…

Pikmin: Tane no Uta Origins

You may have heard this catchy (or annoying) Japanese tune on the SSBB stage Distant Planet, but have you wondered where this song came from? If you would take a look at the Sound Test or My Music options, it would list the song’s name as Tane no Uta. The song’s title is literally translated into “The Seed Song”.

This music was used specifically for Pikmin 2 for the Nintendo Gamecube. And yes, it also has a matching commercial which is simply adorable:

You have heard the song, and you have seen the commercial, but do you know what the lyrics mean? Its pretty easy to guess judging from the commercial, so here is the english translation:

Red Pikmin are strong against fire
Blue pikmin will not drown
Yellow pikmin jumps very high
Purple pikmin are the strong one
White pikmin has poison
All you need is many to exist!

Its basically a description of each individual pikmin’s strengths.

ADDITIONAL PIKMIN FACTS:
- In SSBB when Olimar falls into the water in certain stages, all of his pikmin will drown except the blue ones
- In SSBB, red pikmin are immune to fire-type attacks.
- In SSBB, purple pikmin has the strongest knockback out of all the different types
- In SSBB, throwing a white pikmin to an enemy will do additional damage due to poison

Well we’ve heard the Fire Emblem theme from Brawl with its latin lyrics and opera style singing, but have you ever wondered about its origins? Well here is one of those moments:

It seems that this theme was actually used in a weird, but epic commercial for the first Fire Emblem in Japan. It featured people in medieval costumes like knights, mages and soldiers singing the theme itself in an opera using Japanese lyrics. Check the video below to see this commercial in all of its glory.
