Everybody needs to have a little break, and its been quite a busy week at the workplace (and also busy playing Metroid Prime: Corruption). This basically means not too much heavy updates for the website in the meantime, well maybe just the updates that requires a lot of thinking.

And as for the theme of taking a break, here is a video of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! featuring the song Zenryoku Shounen by Sukima Switch. Nothing beats starting a day with a light-hearted song.

If you thought that the concept behind Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! or Elite Beat Agents is pretty far-fetched, then think again! The idea of an ouen (cheer) to inspire a person to solve their problems is quite real after all.

This news clip from NHK shows us the video of a personal ouendan (cheer person) helping to cheer people who are in need of help.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, better known as Elite Beat Agents on the western release is a rhythm game for the NDS, and also my current gaming addiction for the week. The game’s music library and humorous manga-style scenarios can really draw you in.

Here is a video from Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 featuring the song “Sekai wa Sore o Ai to Yobundaze” on Insane difficulty. If you think your skills are hardcore enough to beat this game, think again. This person’s got some pretty good reflexes.
