While browsing for some old school NES game covers, I noticed something very peculiar about on of the cover arts I saw. And it was the Japanese cover art of one of the old NES games called Championship Lode Runner.

Uncanny resemblance to Captain Falcon?

Just take a good look at lode runner in the cover. Does it look familiar?

Captain Falcon

A coincidental resemblance? Or are they both related? So is Lode Runner really Captain Falcon? or maybe he is his father, or maybe even his son? And since it was revealed in the ending of Bomberman that Bomberman and Lode Runner are the same person, does this mean that Captain Falcon is related to Bomberman too?
