A user by the name of Chamoo232 has created a 3D papercraft of a Big Daddy from Bioshock. Although the game is over a year old, it still is by all means a good and memorable game.

This legendary pokemon of time needs no introduction for those who have played Pokemon Diamond. With one of the most defensive type combination of Steel/Dragon, and its insanely high Special Attack makes it one of the best legendaries to come out.

The only problem is the difficulty of creating this Dialga papercraft. It may take you a few tries to get the basic 3D shape right. If in doubt, just check the Pepakura (PDO) file for reference or the Dialga image above if you don’t have Pepakura viewer installed. Just focus on the blue pieces first which will create Dialga’s basic shape. Then add the white pieces afterwards for its details.

What happens when the /po/ community joins together in a team effort? Nothing short of an awesome papercraft. For fans of the game Super Mario Galaxy, this might be one of the best starting projects to get you into the world of papercraft (well, its a little bit hard for beginners, but it should keep you motivated to make one).

Paperkraft.net Charmander

Not exactly a papercraft (except if you treat fabric as a special kind of paper), but awesome nonetheless. A sewing pattern template has been posted on how to make your own weighed companion cube plushie. Now you can finally hug your best friend. For best results, try using a thicker grade plush fabric for the corners and the midlines to accentuate depth.

On the downside, making this plushie will require a some previous experience with sewing. And unlike papercraft which everything can be easily glued together, such is not the case with fabrics. The hard part really comes with making the cube’s form and making the closing stitches.

What’s good about these hako papercrafts is that they’re very easy to make especially for beginners. Its basically just a simple box with printed textures so construction is easier. If you don’t have too much time, or is just starting in the addiction that is /po/ this template is perfect for you.

UPDATED: Want to make a more realistic companion cube? Ted Fallenger from /po/ has made a more realistic papercraft template for the weighed companion cube – at a price. The difficulty has been increased a little bit. The curves will be difficult, but as long as you follow the fold lines correctly, its would be easy. However, since this is just an early prototype, there is one major ingredient missing – The signature heart

Until then, we’ll just wait for the next update.

Its a very basic and simple papercraft that almost anybody can do. To create your own mini-Wii, just download the template by clicking on the thumbnail and print it to a card stock or a spare folder. Then its just a matter of folding and constructing a plain box.

Now that a Wii shortage is imminent, it can also serve as a consolation, just in case you are one of the unlucky ones not to get one this year.
