Big Daddy Papercraft by Chamoo232It has been a long time since I’ve posted a papercraft-related article. My interest in them has faded a bit when the boards were being mostly reposts. However, once in a while there is an awesome papercraft that can rekindle that interest.

A user by the name of Chamoo232 has created a 3D papercraft of a Big Daddy from Bioshock. Although the game is over a year old, it still is by all means a good and memorable game.

To download the PDF for the pattern, just follow any of the links below:

I’ll update the links to the PDO when it is released. For now, I’ll try my best to make this one (and hopefully make something decent). Enjoy.

Assembled TurretMike McDermott also known as the user *billybob884 has created an awesome template for making your very own papercraft turret from the game Portal.

This would be perfect with the companion cube papercraft to finally make recreations of portal puzzles at your tdesktop.

Dialga Papercraft Template
Here is another great find from /po/ – a Dialga papercraft template!

This legendary pokemon of time needs no introduction for those who have played Pokemon Diamond. With one of the most defensive type combination of Steel/Dragon, and its insanely high Special Attack makes it one of the best legendaries to come out.

The only problem is the difficulty of creating this Dialga papercraft. It may take you a few tries to get the basic 3D shape right. If in doubt, just check the Pepakura (PDO) file for reference or the Dialga image above if you don’t have Pepakura viewer installed. Just focus on the blue pieces first which will create Dialga’s basic shape. Then add the white pieces afterwards for its details.

Combee Papercraft

Combee ModelTalking about a massive hivemind, a Combee papercraft template has appeared on /po/. Although you could simply argue that this papercraft is just 3 hexagonal boxes duct-taped together, its more than just that. Its harder than it looks since the combee faces aren’t exactly flat, but a little bit spherical.

So if you want an exercise in creating hexagonal boxes with curved faces, then go ahead and try this papercraft.
