Chrono Trigger for DS Confirmed

Its no Chrono Break, but at least it will temporarily satisfy our craving for the Chrono series. The latest issue of Famitsu has shown the info on the latest game heading for the Nintendo DS.

Could this be mean that Square-Enix is prepping up to revive the Chrono Trigger series? Will we ever see a sequel? We can only hope…

UPDATE: the official website is now up… with a countdown timer!

UPDATE 2: oh the horrible amount of Sqeenix FAIL, the game is just a port not a remake… can you smell the cash-in?

Sadly, every series related with the old Square pretty much became the cash-in. Not sure this is true or not, but I do feel the Square part of the SquareEnix are just a bunch of lazy people. They just keep on releasing the ports insteads of remakes unlike the Enix.
