Kaizo Mario: The Nightmare After Christmas

Well remember Kaizo Mario? Well here is another follow-up from the ROM hack from hell. Kaizo Mario is basically a ROM hack of the old Super Mario World, with a difficulty that can only be described as “Chuck Norris”. Just take a look on how unforgiving the 1st stage is.

There can be only 2 reactions to this. Its either you laugh at how almost impossible this game is, or weep due to sheer frustration.

If you want to download the ROM, the link can be found below:

To play this ROM, you would need to download an SNES emulator first.

Okay, so when i go to the rapidshare or whatever thing and download it, it downloads as a .rar and i can’t load it on to the emulater because it only looks for .rom.

    Help?

Just rename it and add an extension of .smc so the emulator can find the file.

wow seriously? *facepalm* ok a rar is a file just like a zip file like jason said you need to either have winzip on your computer or winrar (i personally only use winrar from rarsoft.com its compression rate is better for extra space) then u need to unzip the file simply right click it and select extract here (make sure to always run a virus scan first, before opening as rars and zips are the most prominent ways to hide viruses) then once your done u should have your .smc file ready to load into snes9x or whatever emu u got and play

Actually depending on verb tense and other sentence structures it can be a or an.

    EG:

    You need an snes emulator.

    “Oh, it’s a snes emulator”

    @Leo:
Actually, it’s “an”, because you spell out SNES and the sound the S makes is an “ess” with an E at the start.

    stfu,
its the internet, not a college englsh exam.

Actually, ‘Person’, grammar means a lot. It’s sad that just an intelligent few can use it.

It’s all down to whether you pronounce it as ‘Snes’ or ‘S-N-E-S’

Personally, I call it ‘A Snes’, though it would be ‘An S-N-E-S’

    Meaning both, are actually correct.

Hey, asking about the last two comments or whatever, I got the files and changed the file name to a .rom.smc the emulator will find the game in its games folder but not load it. What now?

You don’t name it .rom.smc, just .smc
