Its been just a day since the Orange Box’s release and the ending credits have already been posted online. Valve must have a very good sense of humor for making one of the most amusing ending sequences for a video game.

And then there’s always the moist and delicious cake…
I must eat, eat, eat it

The Credit Song is entitled “Still Alive”
Written by Jonathan Coulton
Sung by Ellen McLain

Why can’t I stop replaying this song?

PS: The cake is not a lie!!!

Battle High Wizard vs Abysmal Knight

Abysmal Knights have always been the bane of High Wizards. Due to their Shadow 4 element and insane amount of MDEF using MATK based magic is not an option.

There are a few options on how a wizard could kill an Abysmal Knight:
1. They could spam MATK based magic with 2 digit damages
2. They could spam Magic crasher…
3. Spamming defense ignoring Gravitational Field. However, INT/DEX based builds will be left vulnerable
4. Or they could do it the old-fashion way. Slash it to death

Well, its payback time!

Critical Battle High Wizard in Action

critical_wizard.gifIt as been nearly 4 months since I have started to make a very exotic high wizard build: a battle high wizard. Armed with a +8 counter dagger, everything was set in full motion.

Levelling as an INT/DEX wizard is easy. Levelling as an AGI/STR mage however is a completely different matter. The numerous EXP mods really helped a lot in making this build possible, plus the help of some friends.

Its stats are mostly pumped into AGI and STR, and relies mostly on the counter dagger for critical hits. INT, VIT and LUK are kept at 1. Almost all of the skills are either passive, or has a special effect since MATK based skills will be useless. With this kind of build, status effects are king.

Behold and be amused by this critical battle high wizard in action: Read more »

Download the Pokeball Papercraft Template
In another great thread at the /po/ boards, a pokeball template has been posted containing a package for not only one but a multitude of different pokeball designs. The pokeball package contains the following templates:

  • Pokeball
  • Premier Ball
  • Great Ball
  • Ultra ball
  • Safari Ball
  • Nest Ball
  • Master Ball
  • Among others.

To download the file, just click on the preview image and save it to your computer. If you are wondering how to open the .PDO files inside the archive, you first need to download and install a Pepakura Viewer to be able to view and print the template. Have fun!

P.S. Don’t try throwing them at random animals, they don’t work in real life.
