Starting yesterday, LUG and Gravity finally released a script to finally get rid of the duplicated items and equipments, as well as illegally generated items. For the average player, this means a lot to be celebrated about. No longer will there be an imbalance of power due to the oversupply of boss cards and rare weapons, and the faith of the community will be restored to the game.

However, for those people with higher economic powers, this signifies a different story.

1. For those who were buying and selling as a means to earn zeny, this is very bad news. They’ve just lost their collateral with the item wipe, espescially that duped items have penetrated deeply into the open market. Unfortunately for now, there is no known method for regular players to detect a duped item.

2. For those who have invested in rare gears, but bought dupes instead, this is also a terrible case. However, if the player has the screenshot of the transaction for that item, you can simply send a ticket to LUG itself for compensation. For the real-life money traders… its an even more tragic story. They’ve not only lost their real money, but they’ve also lost any claims for compensation.

3. For those who have the original rare items, this is a blessing for them. They now have basically two options: to crush the enemy in PVP and WOE now that the number of rare cards and equipments have been vastly decreased. OR the could sell their rare items for a huge margin profit at a later time since it is expected that the value of rare cards and equipments will inflate exponentially for the next couple of days.

For the next week, it is recommended that players do not do any transactions in buying items for the meantime. Let the script do its job for the next week, and enjoy the game while were at it.
